As we go into fall, there’s a lot going in Berwyn that we’re keeping up on. This spring we got a new arborist. But after four months, he is no longer with the city. Seven of the eight resident seats on the new Tree Board have been filled. But the City has not yet called for a Tree Board meeting. Based on City data that some friends of our group requested via FOIA, more trees were removed from our parkways this spring and summer than were planted.
